DEPARTMENT OF FRENCH
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
Training French bachelors, who have good political, moral and health qualities, understanding and applying the basic knowledge of French language, French Teaching Theory and Methodology. After graduation, graduates are able to teach French at secondary schools, some equivalent educational institutions.
Training Bachelors of French Language (Interpretation-Translation), with good political, moral and health qualities, understanding and applying basic knowledge of French language in interpretation-translation. After graduation, graduates are able to work at agencies, organizations, companies and businesses that require translation and related work to meet the demand of economic and social development in the process of regional and international integration.
Training Bachelors of French Language majoring in Tourism, who have good political, moral and health qualities, understanding and applying basic knowledge of French language in Tourism. After graduation, graduates are able to work at agencies, organizations, companies, businesses that require work in tourism and related jobs to meet the needs of society and of the economy in the process of international integration.

“Technological Innovation Training Project in Tourism” of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education to professionalize students, fostering teachers, cooperating with Grenoble University, French Republic.
“Strengthening language competencies for lecturers in the field of sustainable tourism” project cooperating with Arthur Haulot Institute and Freedom University, Belgium.
Memorandum of Understanding between Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and French Language University (AUF) within the framework of supporting the implementation of a university-level French training program, Applied French training program in Tourism..Memorandum of Understanding between Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Saint Étienne University, French Republic on teacher training and research in French didactic field.
Department of French is the first center in the country to hold an examination for Delf, Dalf by the Ministry of Education, the Republic of France. -
