DEPARTMENT OF RUSSIAN
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
Training Russian teachers of primary and secondary schools with Russian bachelor's degree, who have good political, moral and health qualities, understanding and applying the basic knowledge of Russian language; Russian Teaching Theory and Methodology. After graduation, graduates are able to teach Russian at secondary schools, some equivalent educational institutions.

FURTHER TRAINING
Provide learners with basic and advanced Russian language courses at the Russian Center, organizing Russian courses for organizations, companies and individuals outsides.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
Every year, department of Russian holds a Scientific Research Conference for lecturers and students, publishes scientific researches proceeding to update and improve the quality of teaching and learning.
Staff members regularly participate in short-term courses domestically and abroad; participate in the workshop and publish the article in the magazine domestically and abroad.

AWARDS
Students won the second prize in the Russian Essay Writing Contest in August 2016
Students won 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, 1 consolation prize in the essay writing competition and presented the topic "My favorite work" held by Pushkin Russian Institute - Training Department with Foreign Partners, Ministry Education and Training held in November 2016.
Students won the second prize of the Russian Translation Contest organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in collaboration with the Russian World Fund in Hanoi in December 2016.
Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of Vietnam Friendship Association - Russian Federation gave Department of Russian excellent achievements in friendship activities in Vietnam - Russian Federation for the period of 2006-2011.
